"King" is by Ace De Peponita, a performance producing stallion with many cutting
& reining foals earning NCHA, NRHA, FQHR & AQHA $ & Points. His maternal grandsire, Blantons Leo San,
a Reining Point earner himself, Sire of AQHA Champions, AQHA Point earners, Performance Register of Merit Earners & Superiors, was
a Therapeutic lesson horse and won several gold medals at the Iowa Special Olympics and was nominated for the AQHA Silver
Spur Award and comes from the wonderful "Blanton" line of horses, known for their brains. Originally bred in Iowa, we
are excited to bring the World Champion & NCHA Hall of Fame Bloodlines of Peponita, Peppy San, Leo San,
Blantons Leo San, Lucky Blanton, Doc Bar & more to the Doublebarrel Ranch in Mariposa, California.

He's a beautiful, fancy mover with lots of cow. You can't help but notice his refined
head, wide shoulders & bulldog build, correct conformation and big heart. I have been told many times, "he
looks like the 'old style, 1950's Quarter Horse'." & "he looks 'just like Peponita'." What's even more wonderful
is that he's throwing himself... so far all his babies look just like him and all but one buckskin are black in
color. Love training them too... show 'em once!
We purchased him for his unbelievable disposition... we won't stand
a stallion or breed a mare with anything other than a kind and willing attitude. We ride out on the trail and up the
mountain with other mares - this guy is SUPER quiet & my favorite Sunday ride! King is the kind of horse you
don't want to get off once you get on!
